1953年秋聖保羅堂教友，就開始在五福四路中央信託局辦事處聚會，平均約有20人。

1954台灣聖公會成立，聖約翰座堂葉祖耀牧師每月南下哨船頭台南關俱樂部主持聖餐禮拜，李宏志先生常常主推展教務。

1964年5月31日吉爾生主教，祝聖啟用現今外觀近似馬鞍圓弧尖頂榮耀冠冕的聖保羅堂。走過50年的歲月福音的傳揚，周遭的平地、稻田，竟已矗立無數緊密連接的公寓、大廈，而進出聖保羅堂的百姓，在1966年幼稚園成立以後，更是不計其數。

末肢2011年1月20日奉派到聖保羅堂，轉瞬之間已近三年半，正如詩人的體會:「你們要嘗嘗主恩的滋味，便知道祂是美善，投靠祂的人有福了!」

在天父陪伴中，賴榮信主教代禱、指引中，周韞光牧師舖陳的腳步中，資深忠貞信徒的榜樣中，實在蒙主賞賜許多出人意外的平安、福杯滿溢的恩典。

〈漏雨中的崇拜〉

美麗宏偉的教堂，每逢稍大的雷雨，屋頂四角透光線竟不斷漏雨，周牧師要我記得用水桶接盛滴滴噠噠的雨水，崇拜時，教友們也常在雨水滴湧陪伴中敬拜上主。

2011年5月，面對聖桌，右後方透光窗邊緣水泥石塊剝落掉在地板上，最大的磚塊約有30公分長，2公斤重，惠捐園長透露出極大的憂慮，幼兒園很快就要舉行畢業典禮了，水泥石塊會否再掉下來軋傷幼兒、老師或教友？於是，蔣鎮東先生來了，先做緊急處理，強制敲下較可能的危險，平安渡過7月23日的畢業典禮。之後，蔣先生的團隊積極來徹底維修，尤其是四條漏水的透光窗及部份銹蝕的屋頂，完工後，至今未曾再有下雨漏水的現象。而最大的考驗是2012年2月26日上午10時35分，屏東霧台發生規模6.4的大地震，當時末肢正在講道，會眾只有經歷過2011年3月11日本大地震的林佳茵姐妹跑到大門外，其餘信徒雖有猶疑卻未離座，教堂內外結構絲毫未受震壞!

〈受洗人數的增加〉

2011年起，第一年受洗人數8人，2012年13人，2013年18人，上主真是使聖保羅堂得救的人數年年增加。

較特別的是吳恆如姐妹的得救經歷。

2012年7月13日她因謝余淑美姐妹的介紹來找我談福音，結束禱告回家後數日即電話來詢問如何買聖經，未幾，即詢問可否儘快受洗。於是，她在7月29日主日受洗，因醫生要求她7月31日須開刀治療她當日來談福音時留名卡所填代禱事項「第十二節脊椎骨折」的疼痛。7月30日赴高雄榮總病房探望她，見她才閱讀的啟導本聖經打開著放在桌上，知道她渴慕主話語的信心與行為。為她抹油禱告後數日，知道她手術順利，更知道了令人驚訝的消息！

原來她的脊椎骨折是癌細胞侵蝕造成的，且是由肺腺癌轉來，又已轉移至肝臟，醫生當時告訴她先生，她大約只剩半年！未料天父賞賜她特別的恩惠慈愛，她至今仍天天喜樂平安地活出美好，當時她也是聽從醫師囑咐配合一切治療檢查的好病人，只是醫師經常驚訝：「她真的很特別!」

三個癌末的恆如，在2013年聖誕夜帶領8位慕道友受洗。這是出人意外主恩美善的滋味！

〈圍牆的更新〉

2011年因需要而到以往劉定華牧師熟悉的印刷店洽詢事誼，交談中，有人提到：牧師，你們聖保羅的圍牆很不好看，要不要我們奉獻一些錢讓你們改建？我微笑著，事也過了。某日

與惠捐園長提及別人的看法，她帶著我去看西側自強路那邊的圍牆，有一小段向外扭曲成弧狀而非筆直的牆面，她說：很怕有大地震把它震跨或突然倒塌傷到經過的人，因為北側圍牆曾經突然倒塌過。

這內心的需求，成為馨香的祈禱與祝福。天父保護了圍牆，不曾傾倒，而上主的恩典也帶領了賴主教和園監督李素滋師母，在蔣先生的規劃準備後，2014年4月8日動工拆除圍牆，5月3日，堅固的熱鍍鋅不銹鋼柵欄已大致完成，成為內外透視的美觀圍牆，美化了聖保羅內外的景觀！

〈新購福音車〉

2011年2月，幼兒園的小朋友約有88人，7月增至116人；2012年冬天104人，入夏增至125人；2013年2月105人，7月125人；2014年2月120人，至今持續增加中。原有的福音車，在相關法令規範下，不再方便讓教會自由使用，園監督建議我們自行購買福音車以利聖工之順利。

3月1日賴榮信主教出席本堂主教委員會，也同意這個方向，於是，洽詢了相關8人座休旅車，似乏理想者。恆如姐妹知道這個異象後，介紹了一輛專屬美國地區才銷售的Toyota，Sienna，Se；主教委員會主席狄運亨弟兄伉儷熱心地陪同去看車，無論車況、價位都適合，於是將車商買來要自用那輛訂下來。

4月1日簽約交訂金車價的十分之一，NT$14萬元，5月6日，車商說，有一車牌號碼恰與本堂電話號碼後四碼完全相同，要否？Yes！5月7日掛牌AHY-9529，選牌費由車商贈送，5月10日由賴主教親自主持祝聖，數位教友喜樂地參與，希能藉此車輛多行服務、多傳福音！5月12日交車完畢，5月14日車商陪同我們去找專業製貼車身字樣廠商，車商向老闆介紹我們是照顧弱勢青少年的教會，竟願意免費服務，5月16日辦妥車輛丙式保險。

車價，加上導航系統、四錄行車紀錄器、保險及辦牌、行照等相關費用，共計NT$1,599,905元，教友們已奉獻NT$59,315元，還須天父繼續賜下感動與恩典，以補需求。

這是出人意外主恩美善的滋味!

在歷任主教、牧長愛主風範引導下，眾多堅守聖保羅堂忠貞教友彼此扶持中，我們誠願邁在跟隨主基督的腳蹤步伐中，體驗主的應許說：「我來了，是要叫羊得生命，並且得的更豐盛！」

Ho The grace of the Lord tastes good and wonderful! ~Congratulations to 60th anniversary of St. Paul’s evangelical activities and 50th anniversary of the building consecration held by Bishop Gilson. 《History》 In 1953, autumn, there were about 20 congregation members in average that they had worship service at an institution named “Central Trust of China” located at Wufu 4th Road, Yancheng District of Kaohsiung City. In 1954, after the Taiwan Diocese established, the Rev. Theodore Yeh, came to a club of “Tainan(now is named back to Kaohsiung) Customs Administration” at “Shao Quan Tou” hold the Holy Communion Service monthly from Taipei St. John’s Church. May 31 in 1964, the building of St. Paul’s Church was consecrated by Bishop the Rt. Rev. Charles P. Gilson. St. Paul’s Church was famous of her appearance that looked like a glory crown. The land was bought by the Ven. Patric Hutton and also he held the groundbreaking ceremony in Oct. 1963. The designer was the famous architect Haigo T. H. Shen who was graduated from the St. John’s University which was belonged to the Episcopal Church. In 1966, the St. Paul’s Kindergarten started to engage in the preschool education for neighborhood with a deeply evangelical mind in every strategies of schooling. Till now there are totally 21 Reverends serve for the congregation of St. Paul’s Church since 1954. They are the Rev. Theodore Yeh (1954-1956. 07), the Rev. John Caton (1956. 09-1957. 08), 馬永樑牧師the Rev. Yong-Liang Mar (1957-1959), the Ven. Richard Yoh (1959-1963), the Ven. Patric Hutton (1962-1964. 08), 劉約翰牧師the Rev. Ho (2011. 01. 20-Now) Recently around these three years, there are some amazing graces happened from our Heavenly Father that we would like to share with you. 《Worship in the roof leaking》 There are four lines of light inlet window on the roof of the church. Many years ago, they became leaking when it was raining. In May of 2011, the cement edge of one of the light inlet window was broken by itself that caused via the rusted iron tube and fell to the floor of the temple. It was a dangerous warning for there would be a graduation ceremony of the Kindergarten in July. We called a very good constructer who is very familiar of every constructing item of St. Paul’s Church. He began a renew repair for all the light inlet windows and after hid finishing repairing, until now there is not any rain leaking again. And when the terrible earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale that happened on February 26th 2012 at 10:35 am when there was preaching a sermon by Rev. Philip Ho, only a sister ran out to escape the danger but the others, all the congregation and the building were “sit” still and safe. Praise the Lord’s amazing grace! 《Number increasing on the baptized people》 Since the day Rev. Philip Ho came to St. Paul’s Church, January 20th 2011, the first year had 8 people baptized, 13 people were baptized in 2012, 18 people were baptized in 2013. Evan Wu came to visit Rev. Philip Ho on July 13 2012. She was touched and moved by our Lord’s salvation that day obviously for the reason that she called Rev. Ho again in a week and eager to buy a Bible to read after she read the book “Streams in the Desert” that given as a gift by Philip and she made an appointment to be baptized on July 29 together with her two little children for she needed to have a spine bone surgery on July 31. At the first time she met Rev. Ho, Evan left a message to ask Rev. Ho to pray for her about her broken spine bone. She didn’t understand why her spine bone was broken. She just felt painful without having any idea about her spine. The next day after her baptism, July 30, Rev. Ho came to visit her, prayed for her and anointed her with the holy oil. Later, she described the amazing grace that given by our Lord. In fact, she got a serious of check by doctors in hospital. Then she was told by doctor that her broken spine bone was caused by cancer that originally transferred from lung to liver and to spine bone. The worst situation was that her cancer was in a final phase. She only had about 6 months to live. Until now, she looked very well. Started an office lunch meeting to sing hymns, say prayers and read the Bibles on May 27th 2013. At the Christmas eve 2013, there were 8 people, Evan’s friends and relatives, were baptized. Praise the Lord’s amazing grace! 《The new evangelical car》 Soon after Rev. Ho came to St. Paul’s Church, around January 2011, there were about 88 children in St. Paul’s Kindergarten. It increased to 116 in July. Next January, it was 104, and increased to 125 that July. In 2013 January, there were 105, increased to 125 in that July. Now around May in 2014, there are about 140 children in this preschool. It is amazing grace for that we got little students to attend in while there is decreasing the number of the birthrate of the Taiwan society and many kindergartens were closed yearly. For needing to pick elementary school students back St. Paul’s after-school class, there was a Recreational Vehicle car bought by this preschool and used by St. Paul’s Church also freely for the gospel ministries. Because of the increasing students, it was not any more convenient for Church to use the RV. For this reason, a suggestion came to buy and own a RV that used by St. Paul’s Church only and not need to borrow the RV of the kindergarten. Finally we bought a used RV, Toyota, Sienna, Se, imported from USA, cheaper, better and more functional. The Amazing grace is that vehicle registration plate which is AHY-9529 and the four digital numbers is totally same as the last four phone number of St. Paul’s Church, 07-2519529. We had a consecration for that car held by our dear Bishop David, J. S. Lai on May 10. 《Praise the Lord’s amazing grace!》 White clouds passing by the top of our Church in the blue sky, what a beautiful day, May 24, we had the new constructed new enclose consecration held by our dear Bishop David, J. S. Lai. The old wall became dangerous gradually since 20 years ago when it was rebuilt with cement and bricks. Now there shows the names of St. Paul’s Church and St. Paul’s Kindergarten in Chinese obviously in front of the gate. Praise the Lord’s amazing grace!

主題：「學像保羅，跟隨基督」

賴榮信主教

從20世紀末開始，世界各國就一直在推動「終生學習」這項教育與生活事工，目的是盼望透過人們真誠分享生活中的寶貴經驗與恩賜，彼此謙卑的學習，相互在愛中增長，建造一個更豐富、多元、平安、幸福的生活空間與安全、寧靜、和諧、進步的社會環境。

感謝上帝，在台灣聖公會1954年創立之前，就有愛主的弟兄們開始於高雄聚會，但是要一直到1956年9月克頓牧師接任堂牧後，才正式有「聖保羅堂」。現址這造型獨特的教堂是1964年的5月31日由吉爾生主教祝聖啟用。聖保羅堂這60年來，在三一上帝的恩典、看顧、賜福下，引導歷任的牧師、主教委員、弟兄姊妹們及各任的幼稚園園監督、園長、教職員工及社區各項服務團隊，同心合意、各盡其職、竭盡心力地在大高雄地區忠誠遵行主道，執行福傳與服務事工，蒙主上帝的祝福與喜悅，是我們該獻上感恩與讚美的。

聖保羅堂是我受洗及信仰扎根、成長的母堂，因著聖靈的引導、帶領，我們得以用上主所給的恩賜，參與服侍與服務事工，一起領受上帝的施恩、降福，讓我們蒙憐憫、得安慰、獲醫治，並活在祂權柄的神蹟、奇事中，是我們眾多弟兄姊妹們蒙恩得福的教堂。最近所發生的一個恩典奇事，就是那根樑柱上多年來因著漏水而導致鋼筋腐朽，柱子有破裂的大石塊，上帝的靈感動何牧師及主教委員們決定要整修教堂，並加裝屋頂十字架上的燈光。負責工程的蔣先生在承接整修工程後，他見證說，聖靈催逼他要先整修好教堂內部那支破損的樑柱。在那根柱子被整修完工後的主日崇拜時，高雄地區發生強震，若沒及時整修好，破壞的石塊一定會掉下，砸中坐在正下方的狄大哥一家。和其他上主所祝福的教堂一樣，聖保羅堂真是充滿主上帝的恩典，用餐時可另找時間、機會多分享上主奇妙的祝福。

今天我們用喜樂、讚美的心齊聚在此，向上帝獻上感恩，是理所當然的事。但是上帝所要的，是我們如何用心靈與誠實敬拜、侍奉祂，廣傳福音，使萬民作祂門徒，而不是任何的獻祭、稱頌，因為萬物都是祂造的，是屬於祂的。

既然是聖保羅堂在這特別的日子進行宣教感恩頌讚的慶典活動，我們若是只在今天有來自聖靈的感動與喜悅，活動結束後就各自散去，以致於感動、熱忱、興奮及使命感也就逐漸冷淡、消失，那是多麼欺哄上帝，是不蒙祂所喜悅的。

就讓我們一起來思想如何「學像保羅，跟隨基督」。

使徒保羅值得我們效法、學習的事有很多，今天我就只提出他生命中的三項事，使我們學像他，跟隨基督，來蒙主喜悅。

首先，我們要確實學像保羅，更新生命，跟隨基督。上主日的經課告訴我們，司提反為主殉道，被群眾用石頭砸死他時，掃羅是幫人保管衣裳。這張畫作清楚地告訴我們，掃羅他當時面帶喜悅的表情。他本是一個專門追捕信奉基督真道者，並將他們關入監牢的法利賽人，在往大馬色路上被復活的基督呼召後，他完全更新生命，為主而活，更為主而死（根據使徒行傳的記載，在徒13：9以後，掃羅的猶太人稱呼改做拉丁語的保羅）。

我們既然得到了救贖的恩典，成為基督徒，就當用心詳查、閱讀保羅在新約聖經中所寫的13封書信，來學像保羅是如何「丟棄萬事，看作糞土，為要得著基督」（腓3：5）的生活經歷。

讀再多的武俠小說，無論是金庸、古龍或劉兆玄的秘笈，任何人都練不成金鐘罩或輕功、點穴術。讀完瓊瑤的愛情小說，人也不可能成為情聖、愛情達人。而遵行主訓、主道、順服的人，確實可以因著上帝的權能，更新生命，榮神益人，蒙主喜悅。

其次，我們要確實學效保羅，跟隨基督，信靠上主，但是我要再次提醒自己和各位弟兄姊妹們，我們的信靠不能只有「信」，而缺少「靠」的行動。希伯來書11章1節勉勵我們：「信就是所望之事的實底，是未見之事的確據。」下半句：「未見之事的確據」所指的，是要有「靠」上帝的行動。如何知道一個信徒在信仰生活中確實「信靠」上帝呢？從信徒是否活出「喜樂」的言行與笑容可辨別出來。因為保羅特別強調：「你們要靠主常常喜樂。我再說，你們要喜樂。」（腓4：4）若有信徒說：「但我就是喜樂不起來。」我要確切地說，問題出在你雖有信，但信不足，因為你雖信耶穌，但並沒有「靠」祂的權能，讓你得以站立得穩，並幫助你不去「看」其他會影響你得真喜樂的肉體情慾、世俗物質、情緒，那也就是為什麼保羅要將萬事「看」作糞土（腓3：8）的原因，他只專注竭力得著基督（腓3：12）。上帝的同在就是讓人有喜樂的言行、展現笑容的最佳保證與最美善的見證。

當然人要得喜樂，保羅用它更新的生命，於信仰生活中體驗後，藉著書信又告訴我們什麼是愛的真諦：要知足感恩，要與人和睦，不怨恨、不嫉妒，要會謙讓，不自高、自大，要忘記背後，努力面前，藉著禱告、祈求與主連結，求主憐憫、保守、堅固我們的靈命，又讓上帝的話語、教訓保守我們的心懷意念，使我們在受聖洗禮時額頭上的十字架聖號能繼續發出堅定屬靈的穩定真光，讓心懷詭詐、企圖見縫插針、誘惑、攻擊我們的魔鬼撒旦只好逃之夭夭。

第三項，我們要學像保羅的，是要效法他積極、主動向外福傳的行動。現代的福傳事工，不能消極地在堂內等人來，而是要有外展、外傳的宣教與關懷、服務的行動，將愛、盼望、喜樂、平安傳遞、送達到人的生命中，可幫助、鼓勵人早日悔改信主，得蒙救恩。

聖保羅堂的牧師、全體弟兄姊妹與幼兒園，就是有這樣的認知，所以用行動完成圍牆的整修，讓社區居民與來來往往的行人可以清楚知道我們有什麼信仰行動與各種活動，並了解我們是如何地關懷、教育、照顧基督所喜愛的兒童，也讓我們可以直接「看」到人群的實況與社區、社會的需要，以便即時提供有效的關顧。

聖保羅堂所贈送給各位的「十字架」，也在鼓勵各位掛上它，來表明我們是屬主的基督徒（徒11：26），要用心思意念、言語、行為，如同保羅活出美善見證，才可能帶領人早日到主面前悔改信主。

也因此，今天的奉獻將作為聖保羅堂的宣教基金。

教區各堂共同的事工異象是「以行動落實福傳使命」，達成信徒倍增、堂會倍增。讓我們全教區各堂的同工、同道們都一起學像保羅，靈命堅固、穩定地跟隨基督，確實信靠主，好好裝備自己，參與每兩個月一次每日經課的測驗，剛強、勇敢向外福傳，教會增長，蒙上帝所喜悅。
